1. Favorite Meal or Snack

Everyone has that one meal or snack they always go back to, something you randomly crave on a Tuesday or end up eating without even thinking about it, and that alone is worth making a scrapbook page about because food preferences change over time, while scrapbooks are meant to capture who you are right now. You can draw the food yourself, even if it looks messy, using an acrylic marker (ShopeeMY) or a simple pen sketch, but if drawing isn’t really your thing, a mini printer (ShopeeMY) makes it much easier to print a small photo and add it straight to the page. If your favorite snack comes in packaging, you can also save the wrapper or label the next time you eat it, attach it with glue tape (ShopeeMY), then build around it with doodles, stickers, notes, or anything else that matches the memory.

2. Best friend page

I have done this with my scrapbooks, and I loved it so much that I made my friend each a page dedicated to them (there are 8 of them). Anything that reminds me of them I will put in my scrapbook, or any favourite snack they like to eat, or better yet, print out their funny faces. Back when I made mine, I used coloured themed stickers and patterned washi tapes (ShopeeMY) of their favourite colour, or a colour I designated to them

3. Lyrics that resonate

You will eventually discover new music, whether it is one new song, a playlist you keep replaying, or an entirely new collection of favorites, and it can be really fun to preserve that part of your life inside your scrapbook. You can draw or print out a Spotify or YouTube link to your playlist and add it directly onto the page, or if you do not feel like doing that, simply write down the songs you have been obsessed with along with the artist and make a little “Faves of the Year” list. You can decorate the page using an acrylic marker, colored paper, or even ripped pieces of lined paper to make it feel more personal. I also like using Flip Notes (ShopeeMY) because you can mix lined, blank, coloured, or textured pages depending on how you want each music spread to look.

4. Letter to my future self

Once you’re done with your scrapbook, you might want to look back on it, right ?. If you’re gonna look back, make it so there’s a message for you there. A letter to “my future self”. is a page I never skip, cause it’s quite memorable and not hard to make. Some people just make their own envelopes with card stock Paper (ShopeeMY), while some people go the extra mile and buy small envelopes (ShopeeMY). I’m not saying one way is better than the other, but some people prefer the whimsical way of pouring wax seals (ShopeeMY) onto their envelopes, while others love the simplicity of folding paper and pasting a wax seal sticker (ShopeeMY).

 5. A page dedicated to yourself

You’re documenting your life, but sometimes you forget to include yourself in it.

Print a photo of yourself or take one just for this page. It doesn’t have to be perfect. A photobooth works too if you want something quick and cheap. Then just build around it; for example, you can put your name, the year, your current interests, things you’re into right now. And if those things change, you can always come back and add more later. You can use your acrylic marker to scribble little cute doodles that hints at your life or little things you love about yourself. If I could go back in time, I wished I had a printed a polaroid, instead I walked 30 min by foot to the mall just to take a photo in a photobooth. Don’t get me wrong it was fun, but I wished I had a tiny printer, so I didn’t have to pause mid scrapbooking.

There are infinite ideas to style your scrapbook, so stay tuned
